about
A jolly fun christmas original for a particular time in human history.
lyrics
The turkey is smug cos david got through
to the attenborough fanclub let’s face it we’re all
in this shitshow together
We’re doubtful the weather
will be good enough for
Christmas outside
Socially distanced, bought a gazebo
the space heater cost everybody their presents
But remember the folk
who have less of a home
Pass round the whiskey it’s time
for
Christmas outside
Christmas outside
If we freeze we’ll be snowmen
If we sneeze we’ll be human
Christmas outside
Don’t want to hide no more
but if our nose is red we’ll be rudolph
'least we’ve got a bed
at the end
of Christmas outside
Look on the brightside!
Our family's dysfunction - relieved of cabin fever
No racist remarks from dear great uncle Enoch
He's far too high risk, so he's giving Christmas outside a miss
These paper crowns don't fit on my big head
Must be all my great ideas that I didn't use in lockdown no. 1
Oh well, let's get pissed instead.
Warm up some mulled wine it's time
We’ll sing in the garden
Mariah and Slade
2020 reasons we could complain
But under tarpaulin
We drink in every drop of love we saved
for
Christmas outside
Christmas outside
We’ll BBQ all the brussels
It’ll make them taste amazing
Christmas outside
Don’t want to hide no more
When our belly’s full and we’re tired
'least we’ve got a bed
at the end
of Christmas outside

I cannot really talk about just one song on this album as I enjoy the entire thing to pieces. From the very first listen I was drawn in by the very deep and raw emotion contained within each track. This has become one of my favorite albums of all time. I think it is remarkably authentic and tremendously relatable. yodaleiaheehoo
